Some impressive previous posts - although talk is cheap; internet talk cheaper - but you seriously believe what you write above? A "better quality of people"???? You mean investment banker types that could have made 3 mil a year? Sign me up for that flight crew
And while absorbing the regionals would be a win-win for both sides of the fence, it is not done because regional flying, or even flying an RJ, is 'beneath' them..? That's a pretty powerful pilot group making those kinds of decisions.
