Along the same lines, back in the very early '90's, UPS flew a DC-8 into Denver. The two pilots got off the jet, but the F/E stayed behind in the cockpit for a while. When she finally came out, she had changed from her uniform into her civilian clothes and walked up to the Captain and said: "Thanks for the ride. I start class at United tomorrow", and walked off into the sunset. I assume she mailed back her ID badge along with her uniforms and those brown suitcases that UPS issued. I'm assuming she didn't much care for UPS.
