Recommendations via an email directly to the Pilot Selection Team: This recommendation should be sent to [email protected]. Please write “RECOMMENDATION” in the subject line. This recommendation will not be added to the candidate’s AirlineApps online application for future review. Instead, this recommendation will trigger an internal process whereby our Pilot Selection Team will pull the online application for a review, score the application and then determine if the candidate meets the scoring minimums to be offered an interview. When you email the recommendation, expect the following to occur.
How do you take that to mean an app is only scored once in 12 months? So an applicant with 5 solid internal recs only gets credit for one if they are submitted in the same 12 month period? I'm sorry but that doesn't pass the smell test. This is directly from DeltaNet. Unless it's grossly outdated (highly doubtful) this is pretty set in stone.
So, I stand by my contention that each internal rec generates a review.
Additionally, and maybe this is where the confusion lies, a Delta pilot can only recommend the same candidate once in 12 months. Again, according to the same website on DeltaNet.
Concur! I had 5 people that were giving me recs... Thankfully didn't need all of them... 1 per month was the plan... Each pilot can give an internal recommendation for a guy once every 12 months... But each pilot can give many people recs each month just not the SAME person inside 12 months
