Actually not many senior guys are leaving. Most of the movement is the bottom 1/4-1/3, for now.... Just look at the list. I think there are some other quals keeping guys from the big three.
I'm in the top 1/3 & am moving very little. Most of these folks live in base, are on the Airbus, not getting TDY'd & generally have good QOL. Especially if you're north of 50 do you really want to start over at the bottom & live in fear of an oil spike, Mideast flareup, or merger? & really, how many "old" folks are the legacies hiring anyway.
