I'm kinda shocked that they handled your situation that way. I've seen some bone headed moves here, but never when it came to family stuff. A few years ago, I was walking through the lounge in ATL, a day after a smallish hurricane had come ashore where I live. A CP stopped and asked me if everything was alright at home. I mentioned a tree had been knocked down. You would have thought I said a bomb had gone off. They immediately sprang into action to get me released and home to deal with it. I had to get them to hit the brakes and slow down. There was no rush. It was a small tree and landed in the neighbor's yard. But I did appreciate their concern.
