Those hours look just as competitive (or more so) than many other mil guys who have been hired recently. I think if you got out tomorrow you would be interviewed within a few months. As to your timing for taking orders/getting out, I can't comment there. When I left active duty, we had to give nine months notice! Good luck with the job hunt.
