You will have plenty to study when you get to ground school. Starts at indoc. Learn the FOM! Then once that test is done, worry about systems. It's a building block theory. If you start at the top, it won't make as much sense and you will be trying to relearn it. Once you have the systems down, we want you to learn the profiles and procedures. Then you get in the sim and finally learn the plane. BUT, if you show up to the sim and don't have the other stuff down, your life just got really hard, and your days off just disappeared. You will be spending all your time doing make up Sims on days off. Remember, you can be worked 6 on 1 off if you are struggling.
