I have actually changed my mind about the TA. I voted yes because I truly believe that more negative impacts can happen with a "no" vote, rather than a "yes" vote. The FMRS latitude that the Company is seeking can VERY easily go to another Star Alliance Partner. I also believe that if this TA were to be voted down, the Company would be more than happy to say "see you in May, maybe". When Section 6 negotiations begin, this will be a long drawn out affair. At least 2 years, more than likely, 3+ years. The world economies are stumbling and shaky at best. Our markets have been in decline for the past couple of months.
Those are all excellent points. I recognize all of those, but I won't be ruled by fear. We deserve better. I voted no.
