BayBums posts have always been insightful and professional. He's absolutely right. The reason people like their jobs here is because they come with low expectations. I include myself in that! I knew why I was getting into so I wasn't surprised or bitter when the **** started hitting the fan. If you can look at it like that going in, you will enjoy your time here. If you look at it like you are, you WILL be sorely disappointed.
Well good news we have more and more options moving forward as professionals. It seems worth a shot. Pilot's are the biggest asset for companies. Attracting and retaining them will be challenges all carriers face moving forward. We all have had bad experiences in our profession, hoping to be a part of something good again is something we all desire.
