I also made it in to the pool. I got the email this pm after interviewing 1/20. I have only flown freight: postal, emery, dhl. Not a lot of jet time, but TPPIC, and FE time.

1/15 Phone interview with DB
1/20 Interview

I had one internal rec, and three external letters with me that the HR lady read and pass it to the panel while I was talking.

I don't know exactly what they are looking for, but I believe someone who is going to stay for a while. A regional CA/FO might be seen as someone that wants to fly wide body 2-3 yrs and then go back to the Legacy, bypassing his ex coworkers that stay at the regional waiting for upgrade or more PIC time and spending 4-5 yrs. at that regional.

On the other side, the Manager of Training said that they love RJ drivers. Maybe they are more trainable. Who knows.
