Think about it - Horizon is a current, long-time Bombardier customer, Bombardier needs more deals for the CS100, the CS100 offers tremendous route flexibility (can fly from smaller West Coast cities to Hawaii or fly short haul flights), Q400s could be SWAPPED for newer CS100s and, even more critical, Alaska pilots allowed for NO SCOPE RESTRICTIONS in their latest contract... The 100-seat CS100 is currently being phased in at SWISS to replace their older Avros on short haul European routes (even though it is capable of flying 2,500+ miles):

Why wouldn't Alaska/Horizon strongly consider the C-Series from one of their closest, long-term partners if there are no current scope restrictions?
Did you just copy and paste this from the regional thread?
