Maybe you've been out of the loop as to what's happening in our industry lately, but 6 years from today over 18,000 current pilots will retire from the major airlines. That's more than currently work at all the regional airlines combined. Allegiant won't be able to staff itself. Pilots will elect to go play for the major leagues, not AAA.
The majority of pilots would stay if pay and benefits were on par (Alaska rates are a good start) and I doubt there would be much problem recruiting if profits stayed the way they are now. Not everyone wants to do 4 day trips out of ORD.
