Make no mistake, guys, Maury is in no way wearing down or giving in. You're not talking about a guy that "sees the light" or even perceives compromise on a contract as anything but defeat.
We're talking about a guy that's Jekyll & Hyde over the thought of a contract with his pilots, and will go to great lengths to see that never happens.
He did it with the dispatchers and he's almost done it with the flight attendants, and he will not rest until a pilot contract is nothing more than a dream that we give up on.
Nothing and I mean nothing is going to change until we get released to strike.
Maury needs to go before he runs this company into the ground. His penny pinching will be the demise of one of our planes and this company. I hope the board has finally seen the light and is putting pressure on MG. My hope is that he decides to retire or is forced out soon. Allegiant has potential to be a great company, but not with this cheap pr**k at the helm. I agree with your assessment of MG. I think he is too arrogant to ever do whats best for the company. To him it's all about getting his way and making a couple of extra pennies per share.
