Taken from Eaglelounge from one of the DFW reps.
If they are claiming we are understaffed with zero-time lines, minimum to below guarantee lines, and reserves flying ZERO hours, at what point are we properly staffed?
envoy management has shown their hand that they have no intention to follow any agreed upon contract or award. Choose wisely if you have any desire to "flow" because their illustrious recruitment tool appears to be a farce.
My points exactly and simply reporting the FACTS as they appear. Anyone here is free to review this thread say, 2 months back and you'll find MULTIPLE posts from the salesmen how 30+/month (360+/year) WILL flow to AA in 2016 (in fact, Sky even went so far as to claim ALL Captains with flow selection will be gone by end of this year) and according to MikeFox Envoy is not overstaffed, but they are just "front-loaded" to cover supposed planned increased attrition later in the year.
Well, the latest update confirms those claims are now inaccurate (I knew that all along and have said so

) and in fact, according to the above are UNDER-staffed for future anticipated attrition and thus that is why they are withholding to minimum flow rates. It sounds as if they anticipate a downturn in new-hires, as well. I think that's probably likely as the cadet programs don't put out regular consistent bodies, but are grouped around graduation months like early Summer and end of year for availability a month or two later.
The important point to note is that things change quickly and yesterday's claims are tomorrows disappointments, at least that has been the history at Envoy. Those who've been selling those claims are now finding it hard to dispute the facts and thus I anticipate a new and improved smokescreen must be devised.
