Lots getting hired with less and I honestly think its the internal rec thatll get you expedited through the process. It seems Atlas still puts weight on it as a decent reference. Im thrilled to bits.
Decent reference being somebody in management or HR. I know somebody that has military and 121 time, multiple pilot internal recs, and never heard anything. While many with no internals, the same or less experience, but with a face to face with a low/mid level HR rep at a job fair get the call.
Point being, if you're really interested in Atlas try to get yourself to a job fair.
