But if you are still a regional FO...volunteer! ASAP. Safety. Recruiting. Do something besides check in for your trips. Most guys I know from regionals at FedEx have down something besides fly the line. Some say it shouldn't matter, but life ain't fair, and it being an good employee or pilot isn't always enough. You need to step up where you can.
And 58 at AA...
Does it matter what collaterals you do at a regional besides fly the line or are certain ones weighted/ranker higher than others in terms of desirability to the majors? If so, what should aspiring new hires shoot to pickup along the way to make their resume stronger?
