Fair enough, good to hear a dissenting opinion. With line bidding, it seems like it would be hard to find a line that perfectly fits all your preferences and desired days off, especially when a senior guy might get it before you.
You have a trip that runs over until the 2nd. You bid for a line that purposely has a trip starting on the 2nd or 3rd . The whole trip gets dropped. That gives you either 7 days off or the ability to pick up at 200%
