Nope. I've known him for 15 years. He's actually a 717 Check Airman. The management that was spit out from the merger and washed up at AAY may be the culprit.
I've spoked to several former NWA pilots on the Delta jumpseat who say GB didn't leave Delta on good terms and wouldn't have any influence on who does or doesn't get hired.
