I actually really don't want to say anything bad because I want to work there, but my philosophy is that as long as you have a good instructor, it doesn't matter where you do your training. I've had terrible instructors at a good school/well known school and great instructors at small/mom and pop schools. Make sure that when you go to ATP you get a good instructor and I think that will make all the difference. Keep in mind ATP is part 61 so all the instructor really has to do is show up for flights while you're suppose to teach yourself. So if you can find an instructor that comes on time, stays the full 8 hours, does regular ground training, and pushes you, you'll be fine. I'm actually trying to get over to ATP Pheonix to instruct, when are you heading over?
