People have a tendency to say 2-10 year upgrade, but it really just boils down to what attrition rate is above you, any future growth, and how far down the list the upgrade will fall when you could potentially hold it, all based on the time you were hired.

Factor in the low 190 CA payrates when compared to the FO payscales, you could see junior captain fall to the 90% range or even new hires. However, the moment it gets fixed, and you will see what it is like to be junior for a very long time.
