Correct. I agree, a NH has no business standing ground on this, sorry that I implied that. Cooperate and graduate.

This old school culture is about self promotion and checking instead of training. The definition of training is often lost in the MIA TC, especially on the 74 side in lieu of checking. In my prior life, as a check airman I always viewed the checkride as an evaluation of the instructor and a final opportunity for the student to learn.
