You're right, but once these RJ FO's figure out they'll never upgrade here with the current order book, a good chunk will figure it's better to stay put and take their flow or preferential interview at a legacy (if they've got one.)
When I left my regional 3 years ago, this was a great spot. Hardly anyone else was hiring and a 2.5 yr upgrade was hard to beat. It's amazing how things change in 3 short years.
Maybe. VX has had a relatively long upgrade for a LCC since about 2013, but newhires have always come here. Our pay is better than NK but still not close to the legacies. Even without a quick upgrade, I think guys will come to the LCCs. Better schedules, work rules, A320 type, and just to escape the regional world in general.
