I know you can take 80% of the difference but I just started at UA in September and would have to manually go through all my layovers from last job from last year. I know there are people who will calculate if for you but since I don't have access to my old employer's computer system I would have to try to get a report from them or do it all from my pilot logbook. Just trying to ballpark if it's worth the time and effort....

Obviously it will differ dramatically with your income, per diem received, and city allowances...
But as a example: before I hit AMT it was always consistently worth several hundred dollars a year in TurboTax.
