Judging by your screen name you had some other things going for you! As you said, lots of variables. I think a mid 2 GPA hurt me - engineering degree from a service academy, military time but not logging flight hours, plenty of good stuff on the resume but I'm pretty certain the low GPA bumped me down the DL list... I don't think it was insurmountable but the app's no longer in so it's a moot point.
