But that is me, and time at home with the family is my top priority.
There are a lot of benefits with Delta, and they are an outstanding company. I have a couple of good friends that have been there for awhile - all commuters - who love it. Two guys in my squadron are starting class this spring, and they are stoked - as they should be. AA definitely has issues, and hopefully we can get our collective $hiznit together as a union/company, but if not, I'll still collect my paycheck and smile. I'm home more than I ever have been, and although I wish I had 20+% more in profit sharing, that doesn't even come close to being able to spend most nights at home.
All things being equal, and if I was offered a job in domicile from each company, Delta would be very appealing. But the retirements are crazy at AA in the next 8-10 years. Good luck, either way it sure beats digging ditches.
