Default Lanyard Policy

Congratulations for the big check that's already posted on Deltanet!

Looks like it comes with restrictions on what we can wear: see "Lanyard Policy" on the main page. It's no BS, FAA-approved and everything (at least I believe each FOM revision is implicitly FAA-approved). As much as I'd like to post it verbatim, I will refrain since I'm sure it would be a violation of some other policy.

Highlights:

Lanyards: restricted to certain colors and materials. Words can only refer to Delta, our airplane makers, ALPA or a U.S. military entity. No pins/tacks on lanyard.

Badges: nothing aside from Delta ID and airport access badge together. No stickers or pins.

In other words, no DPA or orange stuff or messages generated in support of our contract goals, unless issued by ALPA and other wise compliant.

Really? So, is this just another message to set the tone for negotiations?

We all have several thousand reasons to be upbeat today. Enjoy your P.S. and let receipt of it reaffirm your commitment to holding a hard line.
