So how long can AFRC sit on separation requests before it becomes effectively Stop Loss? Nine months seems a bit excessive. What's to stop them from delaying separations for up to a full fiscal year? I'm sorry but if the standard in corporate America is two weeks notice, anything more than a couple months delay in processing someone's separation request is positively criminal. I usually say this as a joke but you can take a page from the part timer playbook. If you have 20 good years, stop passing Fit Tests. If they are going to hold you then there's no reason why you should be putting any effort into it. Currency, readiness.. I'd blow that off to.
