Slow down a minute there sir. I do think unity is the biggest component to our Cba success. I'll admit I'm guilty of making statements about a certain group hired during a certain period of time at spirit. It is divisive and I have not made any of those statements in sometime because I acknowledge they are counterproductive.
As far as the merger fund goes, well now I know. Thanks for the education. I'm still not sure us funding it is the right way to go. If it turns out that a merger with another Alpa carrier is announced we can choose to fund it then. If it's a non-Alpa carrier it's moot point.
What would be nice is communication from the MEC and merger committee explaining the points of the Alpa merger policy that you have referenced and under which scenarios we might need a merger fund. One line about a resolution is not acceptable IMO.
