Fair enough, and I agree with you on unity. But one thing the internet generation seems to often forget, everything we say lives on for eternity on the internet and social media. In my opinion, it's not enough to just stop saying something, you should do something to mend the things you've said in the past. A simple apology on your past comments would go a long way, or even step up and defend unity when the recent bashing was taking place. You are a smart and educated guy, and whether you like it or not, people respect your opinion. Maybe you didn't ask for that burden, but your views and comments here have earned it. And no, I'm not butt hurt over those comments, I'd bet our seniority numbers aren't too far apart. I just disagree completely with those kind of divisive comments.

I'm glad you did learn something, but I will again respectfully disagree. I believe we should go in prepared, not playing catch up. But it's ok to agree to disagree, so long as both sides are dealing in facts. Honestly, I hope a resolution goes to membership ratification, but that will depend on how the resolution is written. Somethings can and should be decided by the MEC for the betterment of the group, I believe this is one of those. But I can see where some might not agree and feel memrat is the best way to go.
