I worked with Duke in the Navy while he was the CO of an aggressor squadron at NAS Miramar, CA. circa late 1980s. Duke was always full of himself and got caught up in the whole Vietnam "ACE" thing. Randy is a classic example of why it is important to keep grounded in our lives and never get to the point where we begin to think we are above those around us. I am sorry for Duke and his family and we should all learn from his sad story.
