Last question. It says you guys are ALPA. How is it that they can't negotiate something more in line with other contract carriers for more reasonable premiums? ASA probably has the largest employee contribution and that is 30%.
Our last TA was a perfect example of Mesa's unwillingness to negotiate better compensation and benefits for their pilots. They just flat out will not do it until they absolutely have to, which they have the right to do. It's not great for labor relations or recruiting but it's their right nonetheless.
