As long as you're not trying to go between LGA and DTW on a Saturday it's not too bad. Last flight from LGA to DTW is usually around 430pm on Saturdays. Sunday has more fights, but they're usually pretty full. But it's still doable, Mon-Fri the commute between LGA and DTW is not bad at all
