This is obviously your first 121 airline, given what you're saying here. It's so obvious I don't even need to ask you if it is.

And it's pretty obvious you're a new-ish FO with moderate English proficiency, who has no idea how the average 121 pilot at most other US regionals--and particularly at US mainline/LCC carriers--views their obligations to their employers/passengers.

You obviously don't "get it" or understand what I'm saying, so maybe next time you end up in a jumpseat on a mainline flight, ask the pilots if they RUN to the next gate or help throw valet bags when their inbound flight is late with a plane swap. Please, please ask some mainline pilots about that...and when they literally laugh out loud at that question, come back here and tell me all about it. Ok?
