When you transition to United through the CPP or get hired directly, the junior base is EWR. It wouldn't be a far commute from CLE. Unfortunately, CLE is a senior base for United.
I used to work for C5 as a FA right as the Dash program came on board. They did me dirty (not terminated) and I have no desire to go back. I have some aviation leadership experience in my current position and way to much turboprop time. It doesn't help my resume enough IMHO.
