It's very simple. Do what you are told-exactly. I think that does still (and always has) applied at any airline ever.

They all hate noncompliance.

And unless an airline gives out a number or email where it is cool to check for an update (I have never heard of any airline doing so,) I think my advice is still sound.

Of course, I'm not sitting here just trolling. I'm actually trying to keep some people from screwing up.
