Atlas has very poor organizational structure from middle management down and is and has always been set up to fail. It's only because of the out of the box creative, forward thinking of the flight crews that Atlas is even in business right now, yet alone making record profits and growing into the biggest ACMI on the planet. Well, Purchase has sent a strong signal that they do not recognize the fact that we've been carrying this airline on our backs for decades and it's time to take the weight off our backs. Stop being creative, forward thinking, just be a dumb robot that does what your manuals tell you to do. Carry flight plan fuel, if you have to divert, divert. Don't creatively try and find an outside of the box way to accomplish the mission, it's not your job. When something's broke, write it up (who cares if it's an outstation and they don't have the light bulb) again, not your job. If you don't have cba required catering, don't move the jet (meal vouchers are for losers) and the list goes on. Let purchase see what it's like to have the outside of the box, abstract problem solving component of their crews taken out of the picture, let them feel the pain. Remember, JD and BF have publicly stated that they want to amalgamate our two POS contracts, they haven't once said they're looking forward to amalgamating their executive Atlas compensation with Southern's execs... STOP THE HYPOCRACY! be professional, do your jobs, leave nothing unturned.
Excellent post. If even half of us did this on a daily basis, the company would cave in a week.

It IS really that simple. All In!
