Some folks prefer to dedicate all their time to flight training without having to deal with the added course work. Especially if they already have an undergraduate or even a graduate degree, an AS/AA isn't really something they're looking to add to their LinkedIn profile, lol.
But yeah, otherwise - that seems how it has to be done. Glad I was able to reap the significant ROI on my $1200 investment in the MGIB.

If you have a degree, there will not be any added coursework. Your basics are covered with a degree. Sign up for the two degree program in the eyes of the VA to have classes paid for 100 percent. Then just fly....... That's a person would work that situation. Again, what is worth to have flight training free at charge with a monthly stipend. It's not difficult at all.
