I want to thank you guys for keeping my faith sound when it comes to professional airline pilot types. I've always held you guys as a group in the highest regard.

A couple of my mentors, when I was a crazy stupid risk addicted teenager (now I'm just a semi crazy risk addicted physical adult with the mental maturity of a 6 year old) and too stupid to listen to dad were naval Aviators (VP). They say one of the biggest motivators to not DOR at BUD/S is looking at the haze gray line across the bay and contemplating a few years of exotic, luxurious glory with the fleet (no disrespect intended to any/all fleet sailors, they've got one of the toughest jobs day to day in the world and it takes a mindset I will never have). One of my strongest motivators was not being able to imagine the face to face with my hero mentors, explaining that I had DOR.

These guys went on to fly for the airlines, and I gave professional benefit of doubt based on my opinion of them to the entire community. In the years since, in personal contact, I've never been let down. Glad to see it's more or less the same on the internet.

Looking at this **** comments regarding Chris Kyle and NSW snipers, I have serious doubts that he ever spent minute one anywhere near any unit remotely associated with infantry combat.

From his comments I also have no doubt that he spent ZERO time in the Teams, Marine Recon, force or batt.

And if ** is the POS phony warrior scumbag in question:

I can think of few things more reprehensible than a phony ****** disparaging the memory of a fallen real deal....*******

It's a good thing that the guys that actually kick doors in the dark corners of the world are above any sort of retaliation, physical or otherwise*********

Oh well, a guy is allowed to dream, right?
