This is a retention scheme to keep FOs and CAs from leaving to other majors. XJT had about 650 leave last year and as of Feb 1st, 94!!! they are hoping pilots won't leave until they get a united shot. Expect 1000 pilots at United= 250 pilot interviews (and probably hired). that sure beats 650+ moving on to spirit, allegiant, atlas, etc
