It isn't so much the grass is greener as my belief that my grass is turning brown. I was one of the 70 some odd people who had an upgrade that was pushed back then outright cancelled. I didn't start looking at any other grass until then.
When I came here, Comair was a career airline. Now the VP of Flight Ops is telling people in class that if you have more than 5 years here, we don't want you any more. You are too expensive. I don't think he has looked at the seniority list lately, because if he did he would see that if everyone with more than 5 years quit Comair would be left with nothing but FO's.
The people you will fly with here are great, but over the 5 years I have been here morale has continued to decline. People used to go the extra mile to get 'er done, but now you get a lot of 'not my job'. I'm not saying that isn't happening elsewhere.....
