Exactly, we are giving up TAFB pay with the STV. I cant believe people are still comparing STV to SIBA. Air guard guys that get sent to Iraq for 6 months is different than Air guard guys that load up a C-5 from MEM and fly to Iraq, sit for a few days and fly back. When they get back they get to live their normal lives. Same with SIBA. SIBA sends you to europe for 14 to 15 days then you get back. You are not stuck there (like STV) for the whole month and only getting paid for 15 days.
SIBA=15days of pay and 15 days of work and 15 days from home
STV= 15 days of pay and 15 days of work and 28 days from home
Its that simple.
