I would like to know if the seven page outline with a Delta header titled: "Pilot Job Knowledge Test Outline" is still a valid guide to focus the study. It lists four areas: Aero, Engineering, Air Nav, and Meteorology... At the end it has a list of suggested references.

Any readouts from recent interviewees, or additional study references, would be greatly appreciated.
Not a recent interviewee, but just wanted to point out something to consider:

Yes, the questions seem to have changed, BUT Delta did not send out a different study guide.

Additionally, although the 4 Feb class seems to have taken a hit in terms of who was/wasn't hired the first time they sprung the new test questions, people HAVE passed the test and been hired on subsequent interview dates.

The only logical inference I can make from that is that, yes, the new questions are, in general, on the same topics and of similar style to the old questions.

If the questions were on some new, off-the-wall topics, we wouldn't see pilots who'd been prepping using the old material passing the new test.
