Just saw an ad for Airbus Captains in China. They are taking ERJ-145/CRJ and other type rated US pilots and paying to train them on the Airbus, then pay them $20K per year. As of 3? years ago, to fly in China you needed to be a Captain, type-rated on the specific equipment. Now you don't...they even started hiring expat FOs two years ago...
Don't forget...you also have to pass the Chinese astronaut physical. And if you're over a certain age, forget it.
