Yes, but getting a fully commutable line for the entire month can be challenging. Throw in reroutes, delays, WX, and heavy load factors and even with a mostly commutable line it might be a good idea to get a pad anyway. 1-2 nights in a NYC hotel costs more than a month in most crash pads.
