Come on now there is no shortage of qualified pilots to fly for legacy/ LCC airlines. Its only the regional's that have to worry. It's a gasp that they might actually have to pay a living wage for people to decide to invest their time in them.

Though to your point above, there are some "bleeping RJ Fo's" who have been FO's for 8 years or more, through no fault of their own other then who they work for. That you would put under someone with 1000hrs of RJ PIC time though they have only been in 121 for 4 years?
