The most junior in the 2/22 class is 13,029. You're suggesting we'll have 29 or more retirements in Feb? If so, that would be double the pace the company has said we would retire this year. I'm not saying that's implausible, but it would behoove the company to adjust their numbers and greatly pick up hiring if it is true.
For the last 6 months I've moved up about 25-35 numbers a month. Some could be leaving for other companies but I think most are retirements. During my Indoc they told us they were planning on averaging 700 new hires or so per year for the next 10 years. Those projections change all the time though. It seems like delta is perfectly happy to remain slightly understaffed and fix it with greenslips and white slips, it probably saves them money.
