Considering that what put the company here in the first place was a reduction in departures due to attrition, it would be business suicide to cause a mass exodus of pilots in this bankruptcy. If a merger/buyout is on the table, Republic is only marketable to mainlines as a source of aircraft and pilots. It will be in its interest to maintain value by holding on to as much staff as possible.
