and many of them that did leave are line holding Captains elsewhere, instead of stuck on reserve for the past 4 years at Eagle. You are talking about VERY senior people if they are close to flow. 15 years plus.
Everyone junior that stayed at Eagle after filing has gotten screwed royally since the bankruptcy.
Our Junior pilots got furloughed in 2012 during bankruptcy! Very few came back. The rest of the junior pilots since Bankruptcy was filed at the end of 2011 are still near the bottom of the list, and have spent most if not all of the last 4 years on reserve as broke junior FO's with 11 days off a month.
Nothing good comes from being a junior pilot at an airline in bankruptcy. Ask anyone at a regional that has been through it.
