Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a standard pay scale.

National does provide a convenient whipping boy for the ignorant however.
I know exactly how this sham association works.

National only serves to do absolutely nothing for us at the regional level. I know how they "strongly advise" our MEC to push deals through when they aren't in our best interest. Funny how the only non unionized shop at the regional level remains the best place to work isn't it..

I said this is how it SHOULD be. There should be a bottom line of pay and work rules across all ALPA carriers, the regional members should be all together as one voice, so being a dues paying member is actually beneficial. ALPA is no union, it's a joke of an association that we are "forced" to pay for and a complete waste of money at the regionals, and a huge conflict of interest with the majors.

Not to mention when you have ALPA office assistants and secretaries making 3-4 times that of the regional FO's paying their overinflated salaries, there is a something seriously wrong there. They even make more than the regional Captains. Their list of employee compensation is outrageous.
