Downgrades and domicile displacements may or may not happen but (they did with the recent Eagle and Pinnacle BK FYI), which even further scares potential new hires away. Bottom line is when Attrition is way up + no recruitment ability + losing aircraft = bad for career progression and any upward movement!

This is why people are saying get out EARLY and don't waste your time stagnating or going backwards for years, we have lived it before. Absolutely nothing good is coming in the next couple years. It will be "at least" 3-4 years before the BK pain starts to subside for the employee's. Look at the history of every airline bankruptcy over the last 20 years and see what those pilots suffered through. It is a common theme with all of them. If it was a Legacy carrier final destination, obviously that is different, sure, there is justification for staying through the pain and waiting for things to turn around. It isn't though. It's just a crap regional and everyone else with better prospects is hiring.
Bingo... the only thing that salvaged Pinnacle/Endeavor was that Delta pooped themselves at the loss of so many FO's that it was about to hurt the CR9 operation... they then threw 15K and then a couple months later when it wasn't enough 20K "retention bonus" at everyone to reduce the bankruptcy shafting... They've since thrown a little more money out to try to staff the place going forward ( in addition to stating they are returning CR2's to the fleet for growth and upgrades) what Republic is doing is exactly the opposite at the moment.... will that continue to play out...who knows, but short term, it will not be a good place to be if you can get anywhere else. (I've seen 2 bankruptcies already, this isn't a guess)
